School Administrators
Ms. Krueger joined the Wildcat Family July 1, 2022. Prior to Millingport Elementary School, she served as Principal of Stanly Academy Learning Center (2020-2022), Assistant Principal at West Stanly High School & South Stanly Middle School (2015-2020) and was a math & science teacher for Cabarrus County Schools (2008-2015). Ms. Krueger was born and raised in Michigan, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Saginaw Valley State University. After moving to the area and teaching middle school for several years, she was accepted into the North Carolina Principal Fellows program and earned her Master's in School Administration degree through Western Carolina University.
Ms. Krueger got married on Pi Day, 2015 to her husband Barrett. They adopted two fur babies, Si & Nora. When she is not at school, Ms. Krueger enjoys bowling, attending sporting and music events with her husband,camping, spending time with family & friends, shopping for good deals, hanging out with her pups and soaking up the sun! She likes to travel and check out new places whenever the opportunity arises. She is fascinated by astronomy and hopes to be able to experience weightlessness by taking a trip into outer space someday!
